    Personally myself I keep off the stuff and you can add soda’s to the list.

    Went fully into being Keto-Adaption with a determined mindset that its a lifestyle commitment not to be squandered. Started Keto late in life (am 67 yrs young) the first thing it did was repair/replace metabolic dysfunction stuff, then it went after body sculpturing , did a personal 30 day record extended water fast 2 months ago was a hoot,do the usual anaerobic exercises ,intermittent fasting 16:8,plus HIIT 3x Tabata elliptical 30/30secs for aerobic. Internally got a 40-45 year old; to me keto seems to go in various 3 to 4 monthly plateaus that the body adapts to and homeostasis adjusts to ,then it moves on to the next level. Right from the get go when I decided to get physically fit/nutrition etc I was documenting all my measurements(LBM %fat etc) using the Ketonix Breath Analyzer is a good tool as well its a wealth of information to be gleaned from the graph, it will show the min/max boundaries of the homeostasis ketone production, plus goes off its tit if you do fasts (very good for the ego knowing fat burning is in turbo mode ! ). I have shredded myself of subcutaneous fat (fat% in 13/14 range according to sequoia digital mass caliper ). Don’t have access to city type gyms as have a farm out in the back blocks of Western Australia so have home gym stuff only and live and breathe stuff off internet plus research stuff etc.

    Getting again off subject again the latest scientific research papers are showing that ALL HOMO SAPIENS on planet earth have Neanderthal DNA within; I contend this is what Keto is accessing and is a survival mechanism !

    Keto adaption seems to me a FAT survival mechanism carried over from the last Neanderthals 40,00years ago and the last ice age 10,000 years ago. Historical records are showing earth is due for another ice age (contrary to what global warming so called experts are saying) and what earth is experiencing now a days is just planetary homeostasis trying to click in.
